Question:

Insufficient privilege error when searching in Inventory

Answer:

This error can appear when the hitlist are corrupted or have insufficient privileges:

  1. Log into the database instance with the system or cheminvdb2 user
  2. Drop the CSDOHITLIST and CSDOHITLISTID tables
  3. Grant ALL privileges to COEDB, INV_ADMIN, INV_BROWSER over INV_VW_COMPOUNDS
  4. Exit the database connection
  5. Log into the application server and perform an IISReset
  6. Log into the Inventory application with the INVADMIN user
