ELN freezes when opening MS Office Excel sections in E-Notebook 12
This issue can happen in Windows 10 and MS Office 365 when the resolution of the screen does not match the application:
- Modify the display settings of the PC:
- Right click on your desktop and select 'Display Settings'
- In the Scale and Layout section select '100%'
- Modify the compatibility settings of the application:
- Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0
- Search for the ENContainer.exe
- In the results right click on the ENContainer.exe and select ‘Properties’
- Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab
- Click on the check box to activate ‘Override high DPI scaling behavior’ and set it to ‘Application’
- Click 'Apply'
- Reboot PC
