Question:

Filters created in the “Recent” view in the Dashboard are not saved when the window is closed. The filter always reverts back to filtering by Experiment. Is there a way to save those filters so they always apply to the Dashboard view?

Answer:

The ‘Recent’ list on the dashboard will always default back to recently updated experiments that the end user has read access to. That is what it is pre-configured to be (hence under the Pre-Configured portion of the List source), even if you change it when needed (this is basically just changing the filters using the search functionality).

If you want something custom, you can create a search and bookmark it and then serve it up in a record list on the dashboard as shown in the screenshot below.
