ChemDraw 17 activation error:

When launching ChemDraw 17 receiving error:
Error: ChemDraw.exe - Ordinal not found.
The Ordinal 619 could not be located in the dynamic link library gdiplus.dll

When the Graphics Device Interface .dll is corrupted or not registered in Windows 7 Operating Systems you won't be able to activate or launch ChemDraw 17. Gdiplus.dll errors are caused by situations that lead to the removal or corruption of the gdiplus.dll file. In some cases, gdiplus.dll errors could indicate a registry problem or a virus spyware / malware issue in your PC.

Please try the following methods to restore the Graphics Device Interface:
Method 1: Register the gdiplus.dll file.
Click Start, and type cmd in the search box.
Right-click cmd.exe in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.
Type regsvr32 gdiplus.dllin the command prompt, and then click Enter.
Restart the computer.

Method 2: Run sfc /scannow.
The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

Method 3: Run a virus/malware scan of your entire system.

Method 4: Use System Restore to undo recent system changes.
