Notice: If you have installed the May 9, 2017 TIBCO security advisory https://www.tibco.com/support/advisories/2017/05/tibco-security-advisory-may-9-2017-tibco-spotfire-server you may run into errors where Information Links utilizing chemical cartridge based queries are used, including via the Structure Search and Search with ChemDraw functionalities, or structure based virtual columns are generated. This applies to all versions listed in the May 9th advisory. These issues have been resolved in the latest set of hotfixes released in June. Per the instructions included in the hotfixes, we also advise setting the “optional” server based parameter ‘parameter-expression-validation’ to ‘false’. A guide to changing this setting is provided in each hotfix download in the instructions for applying the hotfix. We anticipate that applying the latest hotfix and changing the above parameter should avoid any issues with operation of Lead Discovery but encourage our customers to communicate with us should any arise through normal support channels.
To resolve or prevent this issue please download and apply the latest hotfixes for the corresponding version you are using. Hotfixes can be downloaded from the PerkinElmer Download Center
