PerkinElmer Informatics is pleased to announce the newest release of the iLAB™ informatics platform, a suite of integrated solutions to meet the specific needs and challenges of QA/QC laboratories.
The iLAB solution provides a unique web based platform where data is seamlessly transferred across applications, processes are automated, controlled and documented in real time and results are reported as soon as they are available.
With the release of version v6.0, the iLAB platform provides greater accessibility for laboratories around the world along with increased capabilities and enhancements that make it even easier than ever to configure, implement, validate and use.
Among a list of improvements, iLAB v6.0 adds the following capabilities:
Enhanced architecture that easily facilitates the horizontal scalability of the iLAB application, thus allowing increased users and throughput via a load balancer and an iLAB server farm.
Increased support for cloud-based deployments
Improved the interactions with Active Directory as well as overall system performance.
Additional SDMS file sharing potential via Box.com.
Support for Server 2016 (64bit), it continues to support Windows Server 2012, support for Windows 2008, has been discontinued
Support for SQL server 2016 (64 Bit), it continues to support SQL Server 2012, Oracle 11g and Oracle 12c, support for SQL Server 2008 has been discontinued.
Support for Windows 10 as a LimsLink client, it continues to support Windows 7. Support for Windows 8.1 has been discontinued.
Support for the Microsoft Edge browser, it continues to support Microsoft IE 11 and the latest version of the Chrome browser. Support for Microsoft IE 9 has been discontinued.
